Testimonials

Some time ago I defended an e-book about web shops, saying how great of a business it was, and that it was flexible and the businessmen could save a lot of money with it. But that’s not what I want to talk about right now.
 
In the book there is a part where someone, I don’t know his name (sorry but I’m not good with remembering names) talks about how he made a survey in the US that showed that more than 95% of the people who buy from web shops always read the comments and they make there decisions based on them.
 
Do you use testimonials?
Do you collect them on your website or in your catalogue?

If not, it’s not too late to start now, contact your old clients and ask them for a review of any kind, in writing, with pictures or even videos, it doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is for it to be as genuine as possible.
 
Just around that time (when I bought my e-book) I was looking for the right lap-top and when I was surfing the site of a big lap-top manufacturing company I noticed that I do the same thing: I read the reviews. That’s when I realized how important it is to display the testimonials on your website and why wouldn’t we, the ones who work in the real estate industry do the same?
 
The next day I called some of my former clients and I asked those questions, I talked to my IT specialist and within a week they were already on my website. Unfortunately my website is quite new and I couldn’t make such a survey yet, but I’ll make one as soon as possible. One thing is for sure, it doesn’t hurt to have them on my website!
